We are a creative education initiative nurturing young people’s relationship with themselves, one another, nature, culture, and the world they belong to.
Through art, play, movement, reflection, and experiences in nature, we create spaces where young people in Indonesia can develop curiosity, ecological awareness, creativity, and a deeper sense of connection.
We believe that learning is not only about preparing for an uncertain future. It is also about learning how to be present, care for one another, and meaningfully participate in the world we share.
The world young people are growing up in is changing rapidly. At Anak Semesta we take inspiration from the ethos of Deep Adaptation and related ecological thought, translated into age-appropriate experiences that help young people build resilience, strengthen relationships, restore what they can, and respond meaningfully to change.
Rather than teaching them the expectations of a society in trouble, we create space for awareness, imagination, connection, and practical care.
We create experiences that help young people meet a changing world with curiosity, creativity, connection, and care.
We enable young people to observe, wonder, ask questions, and become more aware of themselves, others, nature, and the changes in living systems around them.
Through art, music, movement and play, we create space for imagination, self-expression, experimentation, and new ways of seeing.
We nurture meaningful relationships with people, communities, different cultures, and the more-than-human world through listening, collaboration, and shared experiences.
We invite young people to explore how they can respond to uncertainty, care for what matters, and take meaningful action in their own communities and environments.

Ezca Rizqia founded Anak Semesta in August 2026 to support young persons’ awareness of, and adaptation to, social and environmental disruptions and difficult uncertainties. Before Anak Semesta, since 2015, she worked with other organisations and schools across Indonesia to support capabilities that are not yet priorities within the curriculum, nor teacher competencies.
Previously a senior professional in the film animation and gaming sector, a graduate of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), curriculum manager at Sangnila Arts Academy and a digital art lecturer at Universitas Parahyangan Bandung. She also incorporates her experience from working with the environmental Biosphere Foundation and the regenerative Bekandze Farm.
As a descendant of the Sumedang Royal Family, with its traditional role in the Sundanese indigenous spirituality, while also a practicing Muslim, Ezca affirms the richness of multiple cultural approaches to the divine. She brings curiosity and celebration, not just tolerance, between faiths and traditions.
Ezca and her colleagues involve art, yoga, dialogue, meditation, field trips, offline games, music and dance, in their teaching of children in both formal and informal education.
Your contribution can help provide learning materials, creative activities, ecological experiences, and programs for young people across Indonesia.
Whether you are a parent, educator, school, community, organization, or simply someone who believes in creating a more caring future for young people — we'd love to hear from you.
